Terra Nova is the latest fund from Quadrantis Capital fully focused in the agribusiness sector. For this fund, Quadrantis partnered with the advisor Terra Verde Capital, a leading agricultural asset manager in Iberia with over 20 years of farmland investment experience. Terra Verde Capital currently manages 14.000 ha of diversified farmland in Portugal covering over €200M of principal investments. Terra Verde’s privileged network across various agribusiness stakeholders gives it a unique sourcing edge in the opportunistic acquisition of agricultural farmland.

The fund seeks diversified risk exposure to the agricultural land market and is oriented towards cash flow generation and the capital appreciation upside of the underlying land assets. Terra Nova Fund funds the purchase of high-quality farmland with ample water resources and uses long term contracts to lock in inflation-linked rental income from large scale farm operators, while also capitalizing on appreciation in land value over the life span of the fund. 

Terra Nova features a large target fund size and the management team has vowed to invest up to 20% of the amount.
